Richie and Iris were a pleasure to work with and totally knocked it out of the park with every single photo they took. We had a large family reunion with many personalities and issues to contend with. They were able to capture the essence of the entire family - three generations - in a pretty strict time limit. And they spent all the time desired for individual families after the group shoot was done. They were easy to schedule with and delivered the final product within the time promised. I found them to be quite reasonable and the value priceless. I would absolutely recommend Richie and Iris Acevedo!

When we arrived at Acevedo Photography in Palm Bay Florida the groundwork had already been laid. Richie and his wife Aly already had the layout in their home studio ready. This was going to be a family picture for us featuring the three of us as brothers. We got ready in tie and coat. It was hard to know what to expect considering we hadn’t done a family shot since a restaurant shot with our mom a decade back. Richie was ready. After the equipment was set up he was able to direct us in a way we really needed it in order to get a good shot. I had some ideas but they were gonna be corny compared to what Richie and Aly had planned. They just knew what they were doing and that is what really mattered. Twenty six shots later it was still unclear just how this whole thing was gonna go down. Days later we opened the proofs on the web site on the internet. That was the big suprise! The shots were great. For three burly rascals we were able to muster quite a photo presence. It took some people, Richie and Ellie, to make it happen and it all turned out as a great shoot. I will consider another setup for another photo shoot. It should be great. Thanks again Acevedo Photo.

We were very pleased with Iris and Richie. They were professional and very personable. Our family responded to them and commented how much fun they had. Sylvie especially, our three year old granddaughter. They took the time to make sure we were ready. I hired Acevedo Phototgraphy to take pictures of me and my wife for our 30 anniversary as I surprised her with a ring and request her to stay married for another 30 years. Afterward Rich and Iris took photos of us for a total of an hour. They are a great couple and my wife and I agreed that we would actually rate them between good and outstanding. They were friendly and professional and we were happy with the finished products.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We like to speak to the customer (either phone or email), get more information and at that point if the customer wants to meet in person, we schedule that.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I went to a college in my city and took photography classes as an adult, but I have been taking pictures since I was 14 years old. I was the "family photographer" for all the events my whole life. I am still the photographer for all our family events, but I have expanded now and have my own photography business.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    We recently photographed the Mayor's Ball and this our second year doing it. It was very rewarding because we like the mayor we have now and everything he believes in.
