- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Meet and Greet: We'll start with a friendly meet and greet where I, Lisy Acosta, get to know you and your pet. This can be done in person or over the phone, depending on your preference. We'll discuss your pet's specific needs, routines, personality, and any special care they might require. 2. Personalized Care Plan: Based on our conversation, I'll create a customized care plan tailored to your pet's unique needs. This plan will cover everything from feeding and exercise routines to any special instructions you might have. 3. Introduction to the Environment: Before their first stay or care session, I'll give your pet a chance to explore the environment and get comfortable. This helps reduce any anxiety and ensures they feel safe and at home. 4. Ongoing Communication: While your pet is in my care, I maintain open communication with you. You'll receive regular updates, including photos, messages, and even video calls, so you can see firsthand how your pet is doing. If any concerns arise, I’ll contact you immediately. 5. Emergency Preparedness: With my extensive experience in animal rescue and care, I’m well-prepared to handle many emergency situations that may arise. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. 6. Post-Care Follow-Up: After each session or stay, I’ll follow up with you to discuss how everything went. I value your feedback and will make any necessary adjustments to ensure your pet’s ongoing comfort and happiness.

Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I've dedicated my life to rescuing and caring for them. I have a vast rescue network that I work with, which allows me to stay connected and up-to-date with the best care practices. With years of experience and a deep love for animals, I understand exactly what your pets need to feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it's providing daily care or handling unexpected emergencies, your pets are in compassionate, experienced hands with me. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

My journey into pet care started with a simple but powerful love for animals. From a young age, I've always been drawn to them, feeling a deep connection and responsibility to ensure their well-being. This passion naturally led me into the world of animal rescue, where I discovered my true calling. Over the years, I've dedicated myself to rescuing animals in need, working tirelessly alongside a vast network of like-minded individuals. Every rescue, every life saved, reinforced my belief that this is what I was meant to do. Caring for animals isn't just a job for me—it's a way of life. As I continued to rescue and care for animals, I realized that my ultimate dream is to create my own rescue organization. I envision a safe haven where animals can find the love, care, and support they deserve, no matter their circumstances. This dream fuels my work every day and drives me to provide the best care possible for every pet that comes into my life. Starting What The Pup Pet Care is a step toward that goal. Through this business, I not only get to do what I love but also build a community that shares my passion for animals.
