We hired Gary to take our family photos in a scenic location overlooking the Hudson. First, I love our photos! Gary was easy to communicate with throughout the process, took the time to scope out the right location ahead of time, and made the session pleasant and easy. We had somewhat gloomy weather but Gary's skills more than compensated for it, resulting in a series of photos with such beautiful color and lighting. Would work with him again.

Plan on $750 as your all-in number for a typical session. That breaks down as a $500 session fee plus $50 per selected image, with five images landing you at $750. We’ll talk through exactly what you need before booking, so there are no surprises.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After you reach out, I’ll send over a short form so I can prep properly — what you need, your timeline, where we’ll shoot. From there we’ll hop on a quick call to lock in the details. You’ll have your edited images in a private gallery within two weeks of the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My foundation started with a black-and-white photography course in college in the ‘90s — where I first learned to see light and composition deliberately, not just point and shoot. From there it’s been over ten years of hands-on trial and error, which taught me more than any classroom could. For the past two years I’ve also been part of an ongoing mentorship program, which continues to sharpen my eye and my craft.
