I'm Olivia de Vera, leaving in Chicago suburbs but wiling to travel for your epic photos. I'm all about using as much natural light as possible & capturing you at your chosen location whether it be out in nature, city or in your cozy home. I'm dedicated to making my client feel comfortable during my photo session. So, if you never been in front of the camera, don't worry I got you! I know how daunting it can being in front of the camera & having a complete stranger take your photos. It's my goal to make you feel at ease and have a blast during your photo session.

Our experience working with Olivia, both for our engagement shoot and our wedding, was top-notch. We were surprised she was willing to drive from Illinois to Wisconsin but very grateful that she did!
The way she composes shots and edits them is stylized in a way that's uniquely her's, and that elevates our photos from simple images to true keepsakes. She was also very understanding when we asked her to tweak something and got those changes to us in a timely manner.
Our only complaint, and it's a tiny one in comparison to how well everything else went, is that it took about 9 weeks to get our wedding photos. But during that time she was very communicative and I understood that she was both extremely busy with weddings and, if I remember correctly, trying to get over a cold, so we weren't bothered by it. She did send us sneak peeks as well, which made it kind of fun to wait. I couldn't bring myself to rate her any less than 5 stars because I just love her work!

Olivia shot our courthouse wedding and did such a fantastic job. She listened to what kind of pictures we wanted and delivered exactly on that. She blended into the background never making her photos feel Intrusive and had such a warm energy. She was funny, kind and just an absolute pleasure to work with. The pictures she took were so gorgeous. Thank you!!!!!!

I definitely enjoyed working with Olivia. She was very responsive and able to fit in a last-minute photo shoot for us. It was super cold outside so I appreciate her putting up with the weather conditions. I really liked how the pictures turned out. She got some really great posed shots and candid shots. She handled our dog very well. The only thing I would change is that the edits I got had a sort of color filter on them (or whatever was done to edit them that way). It looked halfway between color and sepia - and I wish they were closer to a more natural color, or at least had a few more options that were colored more naturally. Otherwise she was fun to work with and very professional.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Travel fee may apply for location(s) 30miles outside of 60077.
All session includes:
-edited digital files
-private online gallery for 1 month where you can view, share, downloand or order your favorite photo (s)
-print release (while you can order photos directly through your gallery, you're also able to print wherever you'd like)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process start with getting to know my client(s) and the type of services they need. We then talk about ideas from outfits, props, locations or any photo inspo they may have in mind. Once we finalize everything I will send a digital photo contract to be sign & a retainer fee will be due at signing. The remaining balance will be due at the date of the photo session. Photos will be ready in 1-2weeks for portraits. Events may take up to 4-8wks depending on the type of event.
