I live out of state and came in town because renters were vacating the house I own. I wanted to arrange a variety of work to be done (carpets, painting, pool liner, etc.) so that I could put the house on the market. One of the things I didn't get to was tree trimming/maintenance and I had several trees that were too close to the house and out of control. I don't know why the previous owners planted them there in the first place. So there I was back in MD and needing to find a reliable tree service that could do the job in a timely manner and do it right. After a brief Internet search I stumbled across Thumbtack and recieved several offers. I investigated each, looked at websites, and made calls. I spoke to Ken and he said he'd be out the next day and give me a call, which he did. We discussed tiered options ranging from only trimming the out of control trees, to trimming everything, to tree removal and trimming. Okay, the point is I got all kinds of options and the corresponding prices seemed reasonable. I decided on tree removal and trimming everything else. Knowing I was trying to get the house on the market Ken was able to expedite the work and it was done within two days with an email and well taken pictures informing me of job completion. The pictures showed me that everything agreed upon was delivered and it all looked great. I'd recommend this company and Mr. Larrivee to anyone in need of any service offered based on my experience.
