FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the type of work, materials, accessibility, existing wiring conditions, and the amount of troubleshooting required. I review the project details before providing an estimate. If additional work is discovered, I explain it and get the customer’s approval before continuing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I ask the customer to explain the project and send photos or equipment information when possible. Then I review the job, discuss the available options, and provide clear pricing. Once approved, I complete the work carefully, test everything, and clean the work area before leaving.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience includes hands-on job-site training and practical work with electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, GFCI protection, and troubleshooting. I continue learning about electrical safety, manufacturer requirements, and current installation practices.
