- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
with insurance jobs customer sign's authorization to deal with insurance directly on owners behalf and pays their deductible as a deposit on the emergency services that needs to be preformed so that no further damage will occur. on none insurance jobs we go out give a estimate for work to be done. If customer agrees we take up to a 30% deposit, depending on the size of the job. deposits are due the day job is started. customer signs a contract. we put them on the books. we are 3 to 5 days out depending on type of job. we do not give free insurance estimates because of the detail and many hours it takes and contractors cost. We charge 10% of the estimate total due before we send or hand off the contract. If within 90 days we are awarded the job we will then credit you the entire 10% fee.
