FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At SMT Personal Concierges, we believe in flexibility and transparency. Every home — and every lifestyle — is different, which is why we offer customized cleaning packages designed to fit your individual needs. Whether you prefer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, one-time, or move-out services, our pricing structure accommodates both hourly and flat-rate options. We take the time to assess your space, listen to your priorities, and recommend the most efficient plan — ensuring you receive exceptional value and lasting results.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I begin working with new families, I like to have a genuine conversation about their space — how they use it, what feels overwhelming, and what they’d like to change. Often, small comments reveal big insights. A client might say, “This kitchen is such a mess — I’ve been meaning to move that pile of papers off the table.” To me, that’s not just clutter; it’s a signal that there’s an opportunity to make life flow more smoothly. As I move through the home, I notice the details. Something as simple as an unused plastic container on a shelf might spark a solution. I’ll suggest, “What if we repurpose this for your papers? You’ll still have easy access to them, but they’ll be organized neatly in one spot — and you’ll reclaim your table space.” Those small, thoughtful changes often have the biggest impact. I can’t count how many times I’ve returned to a client’s home and heard how one simple adjustment made their daily routine easier and their home feel lighter. At SMT Personal Concierges, that’s what transformation looks like — not just cleaner spaces, but calmer lives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For many years I worked in the hospitality business. From restaurant management to lodging. Many of the people I encountered were CEO’ and high-level management and they are accustomed to quality service and cleanliness. Especially in restaurants. It’s was cleanliness, good food and excellent service. They are the key. If those three elements weren’t apart of the foundation, then you could expect to lose business.
