FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first typical step in the process includes one or two visits to the client's house. The goal of these visits is to involve the clients as much as possible in the design. Right after that, I submit a final design. The second step includes installation - landscaping material, plants, etc. During the final step, I walk the client through the finalized work, with update of the installation, minor changes and so forth.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-SPC Florida plant biology classes -8 years of volunteering and guiding groups at the 15th Street Organic Farm in St. Pete. -worked for and currently still do, for landscapers whose emphasis is native plants
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have my own registered FL native plants nursery (as well as fruit plants and herbs), which was started more than 2 years ago. With time I started working for native plant landscapers. In parallel, I have started doing independent small scale work, such as installation, design and consultation for folks whose main interest is gardening with native species.
