About
I’m not just a “sit-and-smile” photographer. Expect me to walk, talk, joke and play with you and to keep the shutter firing through all of it… even the tears and tantrums! My goal is to capture those big or little moments that are special to you & will reveal who you really are, so that when you look back at these photos, you’ll remember the sites, sounds and emotions of that day, not that my camera was capturing them!

Nina was so great! She was so easy to work with and she came prepared with tons of example poses to make the session as productive as possible so you can get the most out of your time! She contacted us prior to get to know a little about us and our relationship. I told her a little about how I would like the vibe of the pictures to be and she gave great location suggestions that captured what I wanted perfectly! The pictures all came out AMAZING and she had a really quick turn around! I would definitely use her again!

Nina did the best job ever on my maternity photos! The day of our shoot I wasn't feeling quite myself(probably the hormones hah) but Nina did everything she could to lift my spirits & make me feel beautiful! This was the first time I did a photo shoot and I was a tad nervous, I didn't know if it would be awkward meeting someone I hired online but Nina is such a sweetheart & there was never a dull moment! I highly recommend her and will also be calling her for when it's time to do my newborn photos!

Nina was an absolute pleasure to work with! I was ecstatic when she called us back & was able to fit us into her schedule because I was just about ready to throw in the hat on finding a photographer. I requested a last minute engagement session before my vacation & Nina originally declined due to being busy & a day later calls back to let us know we can work something out and she doesn't want us to miss out on an amazing experience everyone deserves! Her photos were beautiful! A true reflection of who she is, I couldn't be more satisfied!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I always get asked “So how did you get into photography?” My response is usually along the lines of “Uh, I’m not sure. It just kind of happened!” Hmm, that’s not a very good answer! But that’s really my first reaction when asked. I guess you could say that I’ve always been into photography. From a young age I was my family’s photographer. I used my little point and shoot to capture family and friend events. I really loved capturing all of my childhood memories and sharing them with others! I was always making scrapbooks or cool little slide show CD's for everyone to have! Recently I got back into taking pictures, and one while I was adventuring with Tom(my significant other) and capturing our day together with our dog Rumpel he asked me if I've ever considered making a profession out of it. The question for some reason stumped me because I could remember as a kid thinking of it & wanting it but now as an adult it seemed so far fetched. When in reality it wasn't. Lord knows I enjoyed it, and with every passing day I learned something new about photography and was getting better!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

All sorts. I've done children birthday photography, sweetheart sessions, engagement, family, graduation, senior experience & weddings!
