He tested the old fan and found that the motor itself was making noise and the light problem was part of the aging fan. He then installed the new fan only to find that it too made noise. Since the noise was not motor related, he tried various ways to buffer the design flaw causing the noise. When this didn't help, he offered to help me find a replacement fan. We drove to Home Depot and he found a unit he felt would meet our needs. It is perfect! Less expensive and noiseless! Although the complications required extra work, Eddie charged what he quoted initially. I highly recommend Eddie at EOG Electrical."See more
