- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project starts with a consultation, in your home or at our Hyde Park showroom. You get a written, itemized proposal with equipment, labor and programming spelled out before any work begins. Most of our installations start at $2,500. We don't take single-device jobs such as a doorbell, one camera or a TV mount on its own.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) A call to understand your home and goals. 2) A walkthrough at your home or our Hyde Park showroom. 3) A design and itemized proposal. 4) Scheduled installation by the Hive Integration team. 5) Programming, training on your system, and ongoing support after the job is done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We will begin to host continuing education course events (CEUs) for specifiers to earn their credits within the time they need. We also train our technicians regularly.
