Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Thank you for visiting Interpreting the Translator, where you submit material for me to translate. I offer translation and occasionally interpreting in English, German and French. I prefer taking either German or French as the source language, and then translating it into English as the target language. Common needs for translation services, include among other things such as: * Newspaper articles * Magazine articles * Legal documents * Medical documents * Familial documents * Stories I also tutor students and anyone in general who has a will to learn these languages. For more information about these and other terms, please visit my FAQ page on my website. I charge $0.15 per word for both German and French and $50.00 per hour for tutoring students and for interpreting. Once you submit a material, I will then send an invoice through PayPal to your e-mail address. You will then have the option to continue with payment or cancel altogether (please notify me if you wish to cancel, so I may pursue other work). If a deadline is not provided by you, then I can provide one for you. As an estimate, I usually translate around 350 words per hour with CAT (computer-assisted translation) software, but this can vary greatly depending upon what the material is. Generally speaking, once you agree to the terms and pay for such services, I will start on the project as soon as the funds go through. Once I start the project, it will be too late to refund your money. In special circumstances, I may be able to perform a refund, except on work on which I have already accomplished plus a small percentage to make up for the work that I lost. For example, you submit a 5,000-word essay. You change your mind and decide to cancel the project when I've already completed 1,000 words. I will then charge you for the 1,000 words and usually a small percentage to make up for the rest of the work that I lost (this small percentage can vary). Here is a basic example: $0.15 a word x 1,000 words = $150. 5,000 words total - the 1,000 words already completed = 4,000 words x 2% for the work I lost out on = $120. So the total is $150 for what is completed plus $120 for what was not completed = $270. $0.15 x 1,000 = $150 5,000 - 1,000 = 4,000 x 2% = $120 $150 + $120 = $270 Thank you again for visiting, and I hope to hear from you soon.
