FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The investment for an Energy Healing Session is comparable to the rates of local massage therapists. Similar to other body workers, I charge $60 for an hour session and $30 for a 30-minute session. Travel time and costs may be additional. I do offer a discount if you purchase a package of four 1-hour sessions. The total is only $200. Please contact me for rates related to motivational speaking engagements. Like going to the gym or a doctor or starting a new diet, you usually need a few sessions before results are obvious. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In an energy healing session, methods such as guided meditation, breathing techniques, and balancing the body's energy centers are used to help clients reduce stress and promote the body's natural ability to heal. The client and I will have an initial conversation to discuss the process of an energy healing session, what to expect, questions, and their goals for the session. I give every client a form to fill in so that I may document their results after each session. Then, the client rests comfortably on a massage table or in a chair, remaining fully clothed but removing shoes and heavy jewelry. The practitioner uses a gentle touch (or keeps his/her hands slightly above the body depending on the client's preference) at different points along the neck, back, arms and legs. The client generally feels a sense of relaxation and peace. It is also normal to experience other sensations such as: warmth, coolness, and tingling. The session may last an hour or half-hour depending if the client desires a guided meditation. After the session, clients are encouraged to drink plenty of water to help the body detoxify. The energy continues to move throughout the body for 24-48 hours and helps to release any blockages in the body-mind-or-spirit. During a guided meditation, I incorporate elements that the client finds relaxing such as scenes from nature (water, trees, animals, etc.). Through my training and many experiences with clients, I have learned the significance of using symbols (bridges, mountains, water, etc) as well as colors in the guided imagery. Even if you can't seem to visualize or often have a hard time getting still in a meditation, a guided visualization is a great way to start. If you are experienced with meditating on your own, a guided meditation will introduce yet another way to still the mind and relax the body. My goal in every session is to see the client as healed, rather than to find something "wrong." I have been trained in, experienced, and witnessed the amazing effects of holding positive intentions and know the mind is a powerful tool. As Budha said, "What we think, we become." It is my passion and purpose to see you as healed, healthy, and whole!

I received a Masters of Arts in Education and taught for over 12 years as an elementary school teacher and the past several years as a workshop facilitator. My training as an Energy Healer was completed through Healing in America based in Ojai, California. The extensive training workshops and refresher courses I attended over the course of the past 5 years were based in Michigan. I have direct contact with mentors and other professionals in this field and am confident in my training and wealth of resources to help you on your journey. I am a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Additionally, I am an Ordained Minister through the Universal Life Church which grants me the ability to practice hands-on energy healing work in the state of Florida and allows me to officiate at wedding ceremonies.
