If I could checked off all 5 instead of just 3 when they ask what I liked best about the "pro" I would have checked all 5!
I cannot say enough amazing things about my hair and makeup artist, Valene! From the moment I sat down, the whole experience felt effortless and fun — like catching up with an old friend. We laughed, talked, and she made me feel so comfortable the entire time.
I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup. I got so many compliments all night, and everything held up perfectly. Honestly, I was so tired when I got home that I didn’t even wash my makeup off… and it was still about 98% flawless the next morning!
What meant even more to me was how wonderful Valene was with my little one. As a fellow mama to a Sagittarius COVID baby, she completely understood the chaos. When my son was being a typical energetic 5-year-old, she didn’t skip a beat — she was patient, kind, and totally unfazed. Even when my dogs peeked in to see what was going on, she just laughed & said hi — again, completely unphased. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, natural, and honestly so fun.
Valene is such a genuine human — her entire vibe is love and light. She truly listens to what you want and personalizes her art to each client. You can feel how much she cares about making you look and feel your best.
She is absolutely amazing at what she does, and I will be going to her for any event, special night out, or occasion that calls for glam and beautiful hair. Thank you SO much for making me feel gorgeous and for such an incredible experience!

I usually ask them to give me an idea of what they want .. and what they need it for..Any allergies or special needs, then attempt to meet their needs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified makeup artist as well as hair braider.
