Very prompt with response/communication and he was on-time, however I was overcharged for a service that took only 1 hour and minimal parts (parts cost less than $50). Before I approved the work, the written explanation for the high cost was that it was labor intensive and the freezer would need to be partially disassembled. However, 1 hour later and parts less than $50, I still had to pay $320. When I communicated that I was unhappy, he said “you could have declined the service if the price was too high for you”. Again, I was lead to believe this was a labor intensive project, which would justify the amount. Average rate for a refrigerator repair technician is $75-$150/ hour, so if you have a refrigerator that needs fixed, find someone who will charge you a fair price.
