FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The attorney and paralegal invoice for their time expended on a case at their respective hourly rates. We require a deposit up front toward fees, but have flexibility to determine that amount depending on the type of case. It’s not possible to provide an estimate until we’ve met to discuss the unique issues in your case.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a initial consultation to review your case, answer your questions, set expectations and provide a roadmap. The client retains our firm by executing a Legal Representation Agreement, paying our retainer fee, and then we begin work on their behalf. We can file your case as soon as you decide. We are diligent to keep our clients informed of progress so you always know the status of your case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have practiced law for 20+ years. Since 2015, I have focused exclusively on Florida divorce. I am also trained as a Florida Collaborative Divorce Lawyer.
