This was the company we used for a new AC system over a year ago and they went above and beyond with the best pricing and extremely good customer service. They made sure that they walked through everything with us after the installation and how to properly maintain the AC unit.Fast forward to now, in the heat of the summer, we came home later in the evening that our AC had stopped working due to a clogged drain line (that was definitely poor maintenance on our part to keep up with that as instructed by Eskimo). We did remember what they told us on how to unclog an AC drain line and took the necessary steps. We turned the AC back on after using a wet dry vac to vacuum out the clog but after a few minutes, the thermostat did not turn on. We decided to call Eskimo and they spent 15 min of their time on the phone listening to how we went about trying to resolve this and walking us through each step, explaining why we needed to do that step and coming to the conclusion that we just needed to dry out the shut off valve. After we did that, the thermostat turned back on immediately!In the process, we learned so much about how we can properly unclog drain lines in the future and we appreciate the 15 min phone call to save us a payment that most other companies would have scammed you out of. We are so extremely grateful that we called them again and they were able to walk us through in just a few minutes.I would suggest this company to anyone else looking for AC work. In fact, we have already once who bought a new AC unit from them and loved their pricing, honesty, and just overall care for their clients.We will be using them in the future and we definitely recommend giving them a call!"See more

My experience with DNA Duct Cleaning was fantastic! I was extremely impressed with Roy the service technician. He gave us a very thorough free inspection of the ac vents, air handlers and other related ac equipment.He took pictures of all ac vents, air handlers and related ac equipment. They had never been cleaned in 25 years and what we saw in the pictures was astonishing. I knew at the point, my 93 old mother having COPD, that it was absolutely a must to get the service.. Roy exceeded our expectations.He did an amazing job.He was professional, friendly, thorough, meticulous to detail and very neat . Roy cleaned everything before.he left. Air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning was advertised for $199.00 We were charged $1,700 for less than an hour worth of work. Not all ducts were cleaned, and the dryer vent was not cleaned. He left and all the vents were closed. Consequently, neither heat nor air came through. They came to open he vents. We called in another company because the vents that were working before the leaning now do not give heat or air. It was discovered that some of the internal venting was damaged. A separate Better Business Bearue complaint has been filed.

Great overall experience! Requested a duct cleaning quote online via Thumbtack - quick response from the company with set pricing. Provided their availability - and was booked for a few days later. Teddy (the technician) called 45-minutes before the booked time to say he could come a little earlier if I wanted, and that was perfectly fine. He arrived, set up, and did a great job. Very nice and personable guy too. He was careful to show me exactly what he was doing and the amount of dirt he was extracting. Let me look up into the intake to show me just how clean he was able to get it (it was very dirty before). He disinfected each duct and cleaned up any dust/dirt that had escaped. Overall = a great job at a reasonable price (which isn't all that common these days). Would definitely recommend!

The employee/contractor they sent to do the job was sleazy/dishonest. He came out and gave an initial low-ball price (to get this job, I assume), did part of the cleaning, and then "discovered" that there was a second plenum box and told us it would cost an additional $400. As a person who is not versed in HVAC verbiage, I initially believed him, but couldn't afford to pay essentially double the initially quoted price, and wanted to pass on that, but he said he could drop it down to $200. (Later I learned from another HVAC tech that most HVACs have 2 plenum boxes, supply and return, so this was a standard setup, and he lied.) A couple of days later, when I was changing the intake vent filters, I discovered that the intake vent in my bedroom (I have 2 intake vents) was covered in a thick layer of dust - he hasn't cleaned it at all! I spoke to the owner, he seems like a good, honest guy, but the person they sent is dishonest. The owner thought that, maybe since that guy dropped the price of that "additional" work, he did so because of me agreeing to a more limited scope of cleaning, but that was not our agreement with that man. The agreement with that man was to clean all air ducts in the house. If you believe that a certain price is justified for that scope of work, just say it, and I will pay. No need to be sleazy and dishonest about it.
