I called Nestwell because I had concerns about mold and my indoor air quality in general. I have a 5 year old son that stays with me most of the time, and his 80 year old Grandmother (Babci) that helps watch him while I work, so they are in my house quite a bit.My mom has respiratory issues and she began having more of what seemed like allergies and nausea. Out of concern for her and my mini-me; I called John at Nestwell and scheduled for an indoor air quality assessment (this was after I wasted my money on an Amazon at home mold kit....turns out those will always culture a positive result).It was refreshing to have a scheduled service show up on time (10 minutes early) and also looking professional. He was knowledgeable, courteous and put on booties before entering!Let me start here- you couldn't 'see' anything wrong in my house (and I'm a bit obsessive about cleaning). No visible mold or moisture/water. But after he did is air and surface testing along with using an instrument to detect moisture. He was able to determine that I had a slab leak that had been going on for a bit. The lab results for the air and surface mold tests came back positive. That, with an undiagnosed and unseen leak, he was able to determine the problem, its source and then write a protocol on how to fix, clean and dry the affected areas.After I contracted an accredited company (John worked with them directly on executing his protocol), I opted for Nestwell to perform clearance testing (testing that verifies their work) and everything passed. My mother's allergies and nausea also subsided, lowering my concerns for my son. Im glad I went this route. Everything was reasonable priced with excellent service. I most definitely recommend Nestwell if you have any home or indoor air quality concerns. It's your family, do it right.
