I moved down to gorgeous Sarasota, FL in 2020 after spending twenty years as a professional musical theatre actor and artist in New York City. My acting career has taken me across the world. Tours: Miss Saigon (Chris-Over 950 Performances ), Showboat (Steve Baker). Tokyo, Japan: The Who’s Tommy (The Specialist). Regional: Goodspeed Opera House, Westchester Broadway Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, Waterfront Playhouse, Maples Repertory Theatre, Sierra Rep, The Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol, Mad Cow Theatre, Downtown Cabaret Theatre, New Provincetown Players, Bergen PAC. Jerry Lukowski in "The Full Monty"-(Best Actor from BroadwayWorld Kansas City Awards), NYC: Musicals Tonight, Fringe Festival, NYMF, 54Below, Carnegie Hall. Education: Westminster Choir College, The American Musical & Dramatic Academy.

Have been with Alan for about 6 weeks and wow. My voice is definitely getting better with each session. He is very helpful when I have questions about anything. And I love that he gives me the freedom to bring in songs to sing that are my style of music, even if he’s not familiar with them. I feel like the value on his sessions is good because he gives me way to actually measure my success. My confidence has gone up dramatically in these sessions. He’s taken me from shy car/shower singer to a much more comfortable and confident singer. I highly recommend him.

Alan and I hit it off immediately over our love of musical theater. It took about 5 minutes or less for me to realize this was going to be a perfect fit. The conversations wind up being just as entertaining and fulfilling as the coaching does. Within four sessions we noticed a significant improvement in my breath control. Add to that a decent improvement in my falsetto, specifically on "e" and "o" vowels. Alan brings the level of experience you'd like in a coach, without the intimidation and overbearing instruction. It has been a mentally and physically healthy experience for me, and I look forward to many more coaching sessions with Alan.
