- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At JL Design Studio, we believe in transparent, value-based pricing. Each project is unique, so while we offer starting price points—like logos from $200 and brand packages from $500—the final quote is always customized based on your project’s complexity, timeline, and needs. We do not charge hidden fees, and everything is clearly outlined after a discovery call. Discounts may be available for bundled services or long-term collaborations. Our focus is always on delivering high-quality work that fits your goals and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start every client relationship with a friendly discovery call or consultation. This allows us to dive into your vision, goals, and preferences. From there, we outline the project scope, timeline, and deliverables. Once we align on expectations, I begin the creative process—starting with mood boards and concepts, moving through refinements, and ending with polished final files. Throughout the journey, I keep communication open and collaborative. My goal is to not just design something beautiful, but to create visuals that truly reflect your brand.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My journey began at a specialized trades and technical high school, where I studied graphic design intensively and developed a foundation in design principles, typography, and digital tools. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve continued learning through real-world experience, industry workshops, and evolving with design and marketing trends. This blend of formal education and hands-on experience has allowed me to bring strategy, creativity, and precision to every project.
