FAQs
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I've been fortunate to have had many great events just in the past year, but one stands out. It was at Southwood House. The couple had mentioned they wanted to recognize one of their grandparents, as the evening would coincide with their 50th wedding anniversary, and wanted to play "their song". They also mentioned they were the longest married couple of the evening. So I decided to make it extra special. At the appointed time I organized an Anniversary Dance, asking all married couples onto the floor. As the song played I began to thin out the crowd, asking for the most recently married to step to the side of the floor. I went up every 15 seconds or so. Five years, ten years, twenty years, as more and more coupled happily stepped to the side of the floor. Finally after 40 years there was only one couple left, the grandparents. Everyone cheered, and then- I played "their song" for them. It was a wonderful moment.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many DJ's. Choose one who takes a personal interest in you and your event. If they seem sincerely interested and invested in your event, they will work to make it happen.
