What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I tend to get to know the client and their request, gain knowledge and provide professional opinions, then work towards an agreement and plan to move forward with the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years experience as an airbrush and mural painting artist, my partner has been a graphic artist for 10+ years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Prices are based on detail, time, and overall structure and materials needed to complete the project, I always remain fair with people and appreciate them choosing me to complete their projects.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began as an airbrush artist at Busch gardens then expanded to develop networks with different custom paint shops. I started working on my own as my projects developed and various requests continued to come my way. I partnered with a skilled graphic designer and friend who now works with me providing quality work for all our clients. I enjoy being an artist of many forms and mediums and love the people I have met and meet through art
What types of customers have you worked with?
Normally we get request for motorcycle gas tanks and helmets, bedroom and business wall murals are also very popular along with other forms of art. Logo designs and other graphics also stand out. I have done many auto murals and truck tailgates. Airbrushing is a diverse field, we have airbrushed anything from a shirt to pilot helmets for chopper gunners. I take great pride in my work and so does my partner who is a skilled graphic designer.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I completed a 30 foot positive mural for students within the media center of Tampa Bay Technical high school. It had a great effect on students and the community as a whole. Art truley touches peoples hearts and minds.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are always going to be many people in whatever service you desire, but there will be very few who will provide quality work for fair prices, I like being one of them. I like to express myself through my artwork and create pieces which I would actually want for myself. Ask questions, be detailed, and always get what you truley want.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think over your general request, then try to add as much detail and structure as possible, feel free to explain your request so it is easily understood by the service provider. Think of your time frame, and factors which go into your project. Always feel welcome to ask the pro questions and ask for their opinion as well.
