Introduction: My knowledge and expertise of the English language, my love of reading and belief that learning is a life-long endeavor, my dedication to doing the very best of my ability and willingness to put in the time and effort to achieve success for my clients (tutoring or editing) are all attributes that I would look for in someone to hire. That is kind of my yardstick - would I hire me? and I can honestly say, "Yes." I love editing because I can use what I feel is my greatest ability - my expertise in English and my attention to detail. I love tutoring because it actually allows me to teach. It is thrilling to see a student the instant he or she has that "light bulb" moment and is able to grasp a previously unattainable concept. It is also wonderful to see someone blossom with the self-confidence that comes with academic achievement.
