FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients or anyone interested in our services shouldn't expect to be go through a hardcore workout initially. We believe in movement should come first. All new clients receive a FMS (functional movement screen) to determine what exercises are appropriate, and depending on the goals, all clients will go through a consultation process to discuss nutrition and dieting strategies. New clients should expect to be educated and leave Genergy with a working knowledge of nutrition and training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely!!! I am firm believer in education. As a member of the NSCA we are challenged to take at least 6 CEU's for our certification. You had better believe anyone apart of the ACSM or NSCA we are staying up on our game.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure your trainer has the proper education and certifications. Experience will also help; however, there is more to training than just body composition and performance. There are prior injuries that a trainer needs to think about when designing a program.
