- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is determined by the customer's needs. A standard labor rate for small (backsplash/wainscoat) custom work before materials is an average of $75.- $100. per man hour at a minimum of 2 hours. All depending on the area and detail of installation. A standard labor rate for larger (floor) jobs before materials is an average of $3.-$5. per square foot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's determine what your goal is. Do you know the scope of work that you want to achieve? Are you looking for tile and installation? Are you looking for just installation? Floors, walls, just a kitchen backsplash? Do you also need ideas?
