- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in the process of obtaining a license for a clinical esthitician. I continuously am updated on trends through MACs update classes that take place every quarter.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding/Beauty looks are the most common, but I have been lucky to have worked on a variety of looks over my time in the business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't fall into the 'instagram-celebrity' black hole. Most of those pictures are sliced and diced, and filter-bombed beyond belief. Over the last couple of years, it's become more and more common for clients to bring me pictures from Instagram and Pinterest and are discouraged when I tell them the look needs to be tweaked to accommodate to their facial structure/coloring. They always leave happy though because I make them look and feel glamorous, but by looking like themselves, too.
