- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My massage pricing is based on duration of session (30, 60, or 90 minutes), and type of massage given (relaxation/Swedish, deep tissue/therapeutic, reflexology, hot stone, or pre-natal). Current Pricing RELAXATION/SWEDISH: 30 minutes - $44 60 minutes - $64 90 minutes - $100 DEEP TISSUE/THERAPEUTIC: 30 minutes - $64 60 minutes - $84 90 minutes - $119 HOT STONE: 60 minutes - $105 90 minutes - $130 FOOT REFLEXOLOGY: 45 minutes - $50 PRE-NATAL: 30 minutes - $54 60 minutes - $74 90 minutes - $109 ADD ON SERVICES TO ANY MASSAGE: Hot Stone to neck/back - $10 Aromatherapy Scalp Massage $10 Reflexology - $1/minute
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Florida LMT's are required by law to complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to maintain an active license. This ensures that we are up to date on all modalities and treatments to better serve our clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Oddly enough, I fell into massage therapy by accident. I began medical assisting school and quickly realized that I was very much opposed to needles and the sight of blood! My advisor suggested that I check out the massage therapy program, and I fell in love immediately.
