At Big Boys Moving, we believe pricing should be clear, fair, and upfront. We offer competitive hourly and flat-rate options depending on the size and distance of the move. There are no hidden fees, and we provide transparent estimates so customers know exactly what to expect. Because we’re a family-owned company serving Tampa Bay for over 20 years, our goal is long-term relationships, not surprise charges. We also offer discounts for certain situations such as repeat customers, referrals, and sometimes off-peak scheduling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to make moving simple and stress-free: 1. Initial Contact – Customers call or message us with details about their move. 2. Quick Estimate – We ask a few questions about the home size, items, stairs, and distance to provide an accurate estimate. 3. Scheduling – Once everything looks good, we lock in a move date and time. 4. Moving Day – Our experienced movers arrive on time, protect furniture, safely load everything, and transport it to the new location. 5. Unloading & Placement – We unload and place items where you want them so you can settle in quickly. Our goal is to handle the heavy lifting while making the entire experience smooth and organized.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over 20 years of hands-on moving experience, our team has developed expert-level knowledge in packing, furniture protection, heavy lifting techniques, and safe transportation. Two generations of our family have worked in the moving industry, and we train our crew to handle everything from fragile items to large furniture and tight spaces safely and efficiently.
