FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our fee is based on a contingency fee agreement. Meaning we only get paid, if your case settles. Its a standard fee set by The Florida Bar- 33 1/3% if a claim settles in pre-litigation and 40% if the claim settles while in litigation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I normally have a conversation with the client on the phone and then meet them personally. I always allow my clients to reach me on my cell phone by call or text.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was born and raised in Tampa, received my Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 2000. While in law school, I received the Book Award in Constitutional Law, which is given by the faculty to the student who demonstrates outstanding scholastic achievement in a particular area of law. I began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. While at the State Attorney’s office, I tried over 50 jury trials (and over 200 non-jury trials) at both the felony and misdemeanor levels. I then went on to practice law for a prominent Tampa insurance defense firm until the fall of 2007, when I joined the Plaintiff’s side and began helping Injury victims. I now represent plaintiffs’ rights in personal injury and wrongful death claims. In the past, I defended insurance companies and their insureds, which provided me with a unique insight into the inner workings of insurance companies. That is an advantage that I have over many other plaintiffs’ attorneys.
