I don’t normally write long reviews, but CGE Flooring absolutely deserves this one. I am VERY detail-oriented and picky when it comes to work being done in my home. I work hard for my money, so when I hire someone, I expect quality work and good service and Thales and his team truly delivered both.
From the beginning, Thales, the owner, was very transparent, easy to communicate with, and accommodating. They even offered to pick up all of my flooring material, which made the process so much easier from day one. I chose Woodville porcelain plank tile in 12x59, which required removing my existing wood flooring first.
Because of the size and variation of the tile, I was very particular about how I wanted certain pieces selected and installed so I could avoid a look I didn’t like. Thales listened to everything I asked for, gave me guidance when I was unsure about the installation pattern, and made sure his crew understood exactly what I wanted.
One thing that really impressed me was their professionalism and communication. Every single morning the crew was at my house at 8:00 AM sharp. They were in uniform, wearing proper safety shoes, and ready to work.
Thales or his partner would come by in the morning to make sure the crew had clear instructions and would always ask me if I had any questions or concerns before leaving. Thales would also message me throughout the day with updates. That level of communication is honestly hard to find with contractors nowadays, and I really appreciated it.
The project was originally expected to take about 5 days, and they completed it in only 3 without sacrificing the quality of the work. When I inspected everything, I marked a few small details I wanted addressed. There was no arguing, excuses, or trying to convince me that something was “good enough.” Thales immediately took care of every single thing I mentioned. What impressed me even more was that they didn’t just do a surface-level fix—they corrected or replaced things when necessary to make sure I was completely happy with the final result.
I also asked for an additional small request that wasn’t part of our original proposal, and Thales accommodated me without making it an issue.
And I have to mention the cleanup because WOW. When they finished, the crew swept, mopped, dusted, picked up all of the trash and made sure everything was clean not only inside my house, but also my porch and even the grass outside. I was honestly beyond impressed with how they left my home.
My floors turned out BEAUTIFUL, and the entire experience from beginning to end exceeded my expectations. CGE Flooring went above and beyond, and I would absolutely recommend Thales and his team to anyone looking for quality flooring work in the Tampa area.
I was so satisfied that I already talked to Thales about the next project I want them to do for me. That probably says everything! 😊 last but not least I want to shoutout to Junior one of his employees very professional, extremely detailed oriented and the level of respect from his approach something you don’t often see.
He’s entire team was great to work with but Junior definitely shined on my eyes many times.
