Introduction: I've always had a passion for making images stand out from the crowd. Capturing great images comes from an understanding of lighting, space, composition, and years of experience behind the lens. I love the collaborative part of this process, so I want to make your vision into reality! Message me, let's talk about your idea! I started shooting photos with my grandfather back when the camera was bigger than my head! Throughout the years, I've continued to hone my skills by working in a variety of environments. In college, I worked for the university capturing campus events (photo and video), as well as doing portraits for formals & graduations. I have also worked with product photos, wedding and engagement shoots. Then, I learned how to edit those photos and make them shine even brighter! My passion for editing took off as I taught myself to use Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere. Now more than ever, there are "guys-with-cameras" out there calling themselves professional photographers. They might get lucky and capture a few nice looking shots, but they lack consistency. Being professional is all about your ability to adapt in any situation. That's why I also love to teach photography! I enjoy working with eager student to show them how to look at their surroundings with a critical eye and make decisions about lighting and composition.
