When I reached out to Derek for a charity event, he responded right away and had an open conversation getting to me and the project. He was very kind and collaborated well! As a professional photographer, I found him so easy to work with on this project. The results are beautiful! The first thing I noticed about Derek..he is a good listener. He also explained all he was planning and why. He arrived on time and made the whole thing look so easy. The whole process was stress free, productive and fun at the same time. His work is amazing. He is a perfectionist and knows his stuff. The end product and the editing our video was amazing. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I try to find out what the goal of the customer's video is, and where its going to be shown. Then I elicit their ideas and give my own input if asked. If they need new ideas for concepts, I search for popular examples on the internet, and we discuss what ideas we'd like to pursue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 years studying film, and mainly online training.
