Aviator was our saving grace. When we first started, I would never send customers to our website because it wasn't up to the standards a professional business would have. After some time of growing our company, more and more clients and prospective customers would go to our website and I knew that their opinion of our site would affect how they envisioned us as business partners. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My continuing education consists of a subscription to Harvard Business Review (HBR.org) I read topics on marketing, strategy, leadership, technology, supply chain and more. I also continuously educate myself as I build and grow my personal businesses.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a freelance consultant and entrepreneur after I finished graduate school for several reasons. Firstly, I enjoy the freedom of being my own boss, working from home, and being responsible for myself. Secondly, I enjoy learning everyday and applying my current skill set to helping others achieve business success. Thirdly, I wanted to start a few businesses of my own and have begun that journey.
