Introduction: I am offering light housekeeping as well as help with an elderly family member along with pet care. I have been an animal lover since childhood, with black labs, horses, cats and assorted small animal menageries. As an adult, I became involved in rescue and have two Puerto Rican street dogs from a vacation in Vieques as well as 'inherited' a dying neighbor's elderly dog. With this bevy of yippy yaps, I must travel to the client's home rather than bring them back to my home. Last year, I found a little female min pin wandering the middle of a busy street in Vero Beach and immediately jumped out to rescue her from traffic. She had obviously been a puppy machine and was filthy, dehydrated and infested with fleas. I dashed her to a vet for Comfortis, a bath and a workup which revealed a badly enlarged heart, seizures, rotted teeth and the ability to still produce pups. She has been fostered and all fixed since and is just my latest success story -- a path I never see myself straying from, with the reward being a happy, healthy and loved dog, as they all should be. I am willing to travel several times a day to ensure your pet is attended to and has playtime, plenty of potty breaks and whatever else you would like me to do to ensure your animal's life is not too terribly disrupted without you! I am levelheaded, responsible and totally reliable. You can rest assured that I will be concentrating on your pet's needs first and foremost.
