- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have three basic DJ entertainment packages from $400-$900. The packages are typically based on the amount of expected guests and size of the venue (building). Basically the more expected guests, means more equipment that needs to be brought and setup/taken down).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we talk about the event in detail (amount of expected guests, inside vs. outside, location of venue). Then we do a site visit at the planned event location. During the visit I look for logistical concerns (power outlets, overhead cover, potential speaker placement vs. guest seating areas). At the conclusion of the site visit, the administrative part of the business gets handled (invoice review and deposit capture).

I am an active member on several dj online blogs that keep me in the loop with current events, products and challenges of the field.
