At Moments by Melissa Soto we provide all of our clients with photo teasers after 24 hours. This includes anywhere between 2-5 images. Followed by a preview of the best wedding/event day images after only one week. I enjoy the process of photography from the beginning until the end. Capturing every memorable moment and then enhancing them to perfection has created a passionate and dedicated photographer in me.

I don't usually writer reviews but I had to take sometime and discuss what a wonderful job Melissa did for my mothers wedding. My mother has never been one for pictures; so when I told her I wanted to get a photographer she was not too excited, my mother had never liked photos of herself but form the start Melissa had a way on making my mother fell comfortable and excited too take photos. When Melissa sent us a sneak peek my mother on her wedding and she started crying. I asked if she was ok, she had never been big on crying and it took me by surprise. She stated it was tears of joy, she never felt so beautiful. Thank you Melissa for this experience.

Melissa was my photographer for my mother's 80th birthday celebration. She captured each moment of the party from the mariachi to my mother's expressions and emotions. The pictures were beautiful and the colors vibrant. Melissa is very personable and professional. I can tell she is very caring and detailed with her art.

So with all the madness that goes into preparing for a wedding chosing a photographer seems to be probably the most important part of it all. I came across Moments by Melissa from a good friend of mine. I contacted her and i knew she was the person for the job, even when making reservations she seemed excited to want to work with me almost as if it was her big day her energy was amazing. I knew i could trust her. And on that day she exceeded my expectations.The shots were amazing, she got along with the whole wedding party and also became a part of it. Melissa came to my house to take pictures of my pets for Easter. She was really sweet and patient with my dogs especially my male dog, he is a very anxious dog. She offered great ideas to keep them still and was quick to capture the perfect moment. I am really happy with the results. Thank you Melissa!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is setting up a consultation. During the consultation we would go over packages and services and determine which package fits your budget. At that time we would come up with a timeline of your event or portrait session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken countless courses on photography and editing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My passion for photography started when I was very young. I enjoyed documenting everything that went on around me using my camera. Now I can truly say that it is my hearts passion. And through my photography I am able to pursue my dreams.
