I am very happy to be writing a review for R & D Stones Corp. The company is owned by Ligia and Reuben Cisterna. They are a lovely couple who have the highest professionalism and pride in their company and the work that they do. For those of us who have lived in South Florida know what it is like trying to find contractors that have any kind of professionalism. You usually spend your time calling and calling workmen who may or may not call you back, and when they do, they act like they are doing you a favor.Ligia was amazingly prompt in setting up a meeting and was there on time. I wanted a kitchen remodel of new countertops, island, and a farm sink installed which required cabinetry and plumbing. I talked to two contractors before Ligia and all they saw were problems. Ligia came over, had wonderful suggestions and knew exactly what was needed for my remodel. She is extremely knowledgeable and i knew she was the one! From start to finish there were zero problems. Zero. Whenever I needed a question answered, the answer came very quickly. I had trouble finding the granite I liked. Ligia even offered to take me around herself and share her expertise with me. Reuben actually did the installation work. He is really great..an expert with cabinets, granite and the plumbing I needed. The kitchen is magnificant. The granite fabrication truly perfection, and the installation went on without a hitch. If you are looking for a stressfree, expert, and gorgeous remodel. choose R and D Stones Corp. You will not be sorry, I promise.

The professional project managers, designers and installers at R&D Stone remodeled my old home one room at a time. I had a limited budget and Ligia Cisterna (president and project manager) worked closely with me to help prioritize the remodeling of each room in the house. First she suggested starting with the center of our home. The kitchen-- A master with wood and granite, business owner, Ruben Cisterna, created and installed customized cabinets with beautifully arched wood window panels, finely hand painted molding accents make the woodwork stand out giving the room a classic look. The beautiful onyx granite polished to perfection and the beautifully appointed slightly arched island perfectly matches the wooden window panels and kitchen entry columns. This masterfully designed kitchen changed the entire feel and look of our home. We learned that practicality is a must to playing chef! The cabinets are truly customized to fit our organizational needs. Entertaining tray shelves and pots and pans Lazy Susanne provide easy access to these daily used items. The at your fingertip spice organizer is convenient and our guests admire them when my husband and I are impressing with our culinary flare. As a family that cooks frequently, we really appreciated how they managed to quickly get us back into our new kitchen in less than two weeks! The New Bathroom Miracle!--Before the bathroom remodeling we had a major leaking issue that went into the master bedroom. Ligia worked diligently with our homeowners insurance submitting a detailed proposal, photographs and doing everything it took to get project approval and funding. She took on the impossible task of not only successfully getting rid of the mold but she made sure the entirety of the home was mold free. She managed and scheduled the contractors in every aspect. The remodeling job was extraordinary! The bathroom went from a dump with holes in the shower walls and cracks in the floors to a marvelous stone floored shower with beautiful cabinets and custom floor and wall tile. Upon walking into the bathroom, it felt like walking into a resort. When opening the safely placed frameless glass door stepping onto the smooth spa themed stones was extremely relaxing. The custom rain shower made the experience all the more amazing! On all the projects for our home, whether big or small, the R&D Stone family team demonstrated skillful craft, a sense of urgency, and conscientiousness. We love our newly remodeled home!

We did a kitchen re-model using RDStone to fabricate and install granite countertops and custom build several kitchen cabinets and an island. They did a fabulous job cutting and fitting two slabs of granite for our countertops, backsplash, column enhancement and island.

Each time I need an answer or sample they are especially responsive and extremely polite to work with.

R&D came in at the last minute to take over installing our stone for our kitchen. Not only did Ligia and her crew do an outstanding and timely job, they were also a delight to work with. I highly recommend R&D Stone and I would use them again.

So far, very impressed with responsiveness, time taken with us, and professionalism. Haven't done any work yet, but assuming we find the right materials, we will be moving forward soon!
