- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey into the construction industry began at a young age under the watchful eye of my grandfather. His firm but loving guidance and his passion for carpentry sparked my fascination with building and remodeling. My earliest memories are marked by the smell of timber and the sound of a hammer striking a nail, working side by side with him in his workshop. My grandfather’s dedication, craftsmanship, and his care for even the tiniest detail profoundly shaped my career paths. Growing older, I turned this childhood fascination into an adult passion, learning everything I could about construction, from architecture and engineering to procurement and project management. Inspired by his work ethic and attention to detail, I decided to build my own company grounded on these principles. Now, as the founder of ECC, I honor my grandfather's lessons every day. Every project we undertake allows me to cherish those early days spent learning alongside him, infusing the same dedication, craftsmanship, and love into our work. His influence remains the foundation of our success, paving the way for every board we lay and every wall we build.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
At ECC, we recently undertook a compelling project - a complete kitchen remodel accomplished in just 10 days. Despite the ambitious timeline, our dedicated team stepped up to the challenge, proving that speed and quality can indeed coexist. Tasks included a full rework of electricity, plumbing, and cabinets. We began by relocating the electrical lines, ensuring that the new setup catered to the owner's specific appliances while adhering to all safety guidelines. Simultaneously, our team reconfigured the plumbing to accommodate the new sink and dishwasher locations. This was a crucial step, requiring precise execution to prevent future leakage or drainage issues. Lastly, we installed custom-designed cabinets, integrating them seamlessly into the new layout. Each cabinet, thoughtfully crafted, not only improved the storage capacity but also brought a renewed elegance to the kitchen. In the span of just 10 days, we transformed an ordinary kitchen into a modern, efficient and welcoming space, highlighting our unwavering commitment to quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
