FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try my hardest to make my pricing reasonable for the customers! I want to help them look amazing on their special day and want to alleviate the stress of extra costs. As I am a one person team, I do have to raise prices for bigger parties, since it requires more time and speed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I love to hear their ideas and get a feel for what they want. If I’m the artist for them, then I would like to arrange a consultation, to make sure we both have a clear idea of their vision. In between consultation and the event, I like to have a follow up chat to make sure times and dates are set, just so I can be as prepared as possible. Lastly would be the final result/day of event and make sure everything turns out beautifully.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have loved doing makeup since childhood, and when I took it seriously as the head of the makeup department in my high school drama club I decided to attend the proper schooling to expand my skills. Almost immediately after graduating I went straight to New York to attend the Makeup Designory, where I learned every aspect of makeup from beauty to film to special effects, along with hair styling and costume design.
