Hello, my name is Riccardo Ferraris. I am originally from Italy but lived most of my life in Brazil. I speak four languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, and I am currently located in West Palm Beach.
I graduated from Keiser University as a student-athlete playing tennis. I was named first-team two years in a row, ranked number 3 nationally in doubles, and 27 in the nation in singles. I’ve practiced with Davis Cup coaches - Ricardo Acioly and Ricardo Viegas. My training partners were Joao Sousa (top 60 atp best ranking) and Christian Lindell (top 100 atp best ranking).
My experience as a tennis coach goes far back; I started coaching in Italy at Vavassori tennis academy, where I’ve learned all the training process for young athletes and hobby players. After two years working with them, I moved to Brazil and worked as a head pro at Marina Barra Clube in Rio de Janeiro. In 2018 I worked as a tennis pro at Future Starts, a tennis club in South Hampton, NY for the duration of one summer.
For over 4 years, I’ve been teaching private lessons for many clients, and I am happy to see their progress regularly.
I do not have a court available; however, I know many public courts where we could have our lessons. I can provide rackets if needed, and I always bring balls and other equipments to our practices.
I am looking forwards to meeting you!
