- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings are most common followed by birthday parties for all ages. We get hired for all sorts of wedding business from full planning to linen rentals to officiate services. Please feel free to ask us about anything you need for a wedding, no matter what it is. If we don't do it, we know outstanding vendors who do. For birthdays we commonly get asked for full planning for kids. This includes party planning, custom invitations, goodie bags, decoration set up, photos of entire event to be given to parents on cd and clean up. For adult parties it varies from linen rentals and custom invitations to decoration rental, catering and photos.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a vow renewal and was given colors and theme. The couple and bride's parents were ecstatic about how everything turned out in such a small space and the level of detail & care I put into every piece of the day. We transformed a small patio from ceremony to reception in less than 15 minutes without it being crowded. I even impressed my husband with that feat!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please give any event planner at least 2 months notice before your event date. You are looking to hire us to make your day less stressful, so please have courtesy enough to give us time to properly plan. Please don't procrastinate on making a final decision or making payment for services. Standard procedure for us is 50% deposit at time of contract signing and the balance due no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. If you are wanting linens for your event, please know the size and shape of your tables when you call. Know what colors you want and how many of each product you may need. Estimates are ok at the beginningof planning. Be advised that special requests for colors not in stock at the time you book require more time to get in to us and may require a slightly higher rate than what is posted.
