FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Learn before pay. No contract. My students usually Zelle the tuition to me after each session. I am happy about it. If you forget it sometimes, that's OK, because I understand you may have a crazy day. I will kindly send a text message to remind you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Go straight to homework help or concepts, and generally practice on topics your kid needs; 2. Assessment and make a study plan for your kid. For younger students, I will do the assessment during the first session, and write a assessment report and study plan for each students, and send back to you next day. In this way, we will know the strength and weakness of the students in detail. Starting from the weakness points, we will fix the missing dots first, then go to the advanced level of study. I add some contest problems to students as a brain teaser when they need. After the first session, if you like my report and study plan, we will continue the lessons. For college students, I will take a look of the syllabus, textbooks, and homework, etc. via your student's account or you can send them to me. You can also send any questions to me before our meeting or show me at the meeting. I will explain them to you during our math meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. I have been teaching undergraduate students since 2012. I have been working with the Elementary/Middle/High school students with their studies (fix the missing dots & get ready for the next grade). I have been assisting college students with their Algebra and helped with homework and exams. I have been discussing the math fun with the seniors to help them to achieve their personal goals.
