I scheduled with Taylor to do a photo shoot of myself and boyfriend. Taylor showed up ready to capture the love between us, and it showed through the beautiful photos he took. He made both of us feel so comfortable during the photo shoot. He has such a different point of view when it comes to photography, making unique and eloquent photos.

One of the best things about Thumbtack is that it creates a “jump-ball” scenario. If you are interested and want the work, it levels the playing field and creates a great dynamic for buyers and sellers. Not only does Taylor do fantastic work, he understands how the above works—to the letter. As a millennial-aged buyer on this platform (me), that also happens to work for a huge company (lots of red tape), I tirelessly seek out “as friction-less-as-possible” situations. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?All of my pricing is straight forward. Although I use thumbtack to help generate new buisness, I encourage everyone to check out my website/portfolio to see my pricing and photos.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?So first Off, i am a very open human. I might ask you a few questions about who you are and what you do, or maybe even what your favorite art is! And I love sharing my story and my visions for each photo with my clients. Also I don’t like using the word client because I feel that when you get the chance to work with someone new you also get a chance to create a memory that will stick with that person for life. You never know where a photo and a conversation can lead!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am 100% self taught, I have worked for many corporate companies and even worked at disney world in the magic kingdom as a photographer for a while! I can work every type of camera that you can think of, I have traveled the U.S. practicing my photography, whether it be a client in another state, or for my own enjoyment, I am always learning and always listening!
