- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Here at CLIMB Wellness & Counseling we have over 16 years of combined experience specializing in Couples, Individuals, and Family therapy, we have had the privilege to walk alongside countless individuals facing a wide range of life challenges. Morgan Rahimi graduated with a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a clinical supervisor in the state of Florida and has extensive training in perinatal mood disorders, addictions, trauma and EMDR. Morgan is a Clinical Fellow of The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, a Gottman Seven Principles and Bringing Baby Home Educator, and is trained in Gottman Level 1 couples therapy. Samantha Swenson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the state of Florida. Samantha has completed intensive training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) a therapy approach for couples and individuals. Samantha’s primary treatment approaches additionally are Child Parent Relationship (CPRT), Gottman Emotion Coaching Parenting, Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Expressive Therapy (Art, Sandtray, Play).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important part of therapy/counseling is connecting with your therapist and feeling listened to and understood. Find a therapist who can assist you with formulating your goals and working with you to become what you wish to be.
