- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am planning to raise my prices as I get more reviews and experience, so act fast! I will honor whatever price I originally had set during the first job I did for any given client if they choose to continue working with me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love transforming the spaces in my own home, and in order to save money, I do most of the work myself. That led me down the path of interior design and led me to do handyman jobs on the side, since I had naturally acquired the skills and enjoy doing it.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a client who needed an entire room decorated. I mounted a TV and PlayStation and hid the cables behind the wall, hung a mirror and small shelf, two paintings with picture lights, two large shelves, and a curtain rod with curtains. It took just about all day, but it was rewarding to see the transformation!
