Hi, I'm Tamy Cardoso, beauty artist, specialist in makeup and hairstyle for brides. With nearly 10 years of experience between the United States and Brazil.
Throughout my journey as a makeup artist, I had the opportunity to produce and enhance the beauty of clients with different beauties characteristics such as: Asian, Indian, Hispanic, African. This allowed me to acquire competence to carry out my work with much more safety and professionalism and always respecting the preferences of clients.

Tammy is unbelievably excellent at her craft. She absolutely saved me on my wedding day. She restyled my hair after I was unhappy with the way it was done at the salon and her makeup skills are above par. I have never felt more beautiful in my life! I highly recommend Tammy for all of your makeup/hair needs!

I support small business. I really wanted to write a review for Tamy Cardoso services. I wrote my first review and it got deleted by accident. I couldn't find how to do so on thumbtack app. I opened it on my laptop and bam it was here a option to review again. Hopefully I can add my pictures later. Ok so back to the review.
Hello it was a pleasure working with Tamy Cardoso. I booked Tamy a month prior to my event. She was very responsive and very detailed in her messages. Her price was reasonable.
I was very skeptic on using this app. It was my first time using such a app. I mean trusting a business solely on reviews and pictures could have a bad outcome. Especially inviting a stranger to your home. But Tamy did not feel like a stranger from the moment we message each other.
She was not the only business I talked to for the service I needed. I did talk to few others. I just like how responsive Tamy was. The other business would message me price and location. Some were misleading cause it would say they would travel to your establishment and they wouldn't. I would ask to see profiles and they wouldn't send me pictures. Tamy sent me few of her recent clients. She kept in touch with me till my appointment.
On the day of my appointment. She message me a set of instructions on how to prepare my hair for styling. I followed her directions.
Everyone at the event raved about my hair and make up. It lasted the entire event (7pm to 11pm). But also keep in mind my hair and make up was done few hours prior to the event.
I even shed some few happy tears at my event. The make up did not run off it stayed in placed even with me crying a bit.
Only downfall is I wished she used rubber bands the same color as my hair. Tamy needs to invest in black blonde, brown rubber bands I didn't notice it till I had pictures taken of my hair. But my hair style stayed in place. It looked beautiful.
I don't wear make up myself on a regular base. But I do know the trendy make up brand. She did use a MAC foundation and tarte concealer. A mac press powder. I wasn't sure of the eye shadow brands. Some kind of moisturizes and spray. I have very sensitive skin but I did not break out with Tamy products.
Her tools were clean. She had a clean brush and hair tools. Her make up brushes were clean.
The language barrier was a bit struggle.It was minor set back. Tamy did not speak English that well. English was a second language. Everything worked out. She did a fantastic.
If you need someone to come to your location please look into Tamy services. She is very responsive, professional, clean, sweet, and overall a good person. The price is very reasonable for hair (updo) and make up. I personally would use her again if I was ever in Charlotte, NC. Or if she could travel to me up North.
