I started in cosmetology and have worked my way into Massage Therapy after years of personal growth and development towards a more relaxing way of life. While I do maintain my cosmetology license and continuing education today, my main focus is towards physical and holistic health. When I became a Massage Therapist, my main goal in mind was and is to provide pain management, and relief and relaxation to the public. I have clinical experience in Electro Therapuetic Point Stimulation which is used with a Pointer Plus or ETPS1000 device that sends a small electrical current through the tissue to assist in neuromuscular release, much like a Tens Unit but directed more in correlation with the meridian and acupressure points as opposed to the belly of the muscle. I specialize in scar release therapy using this method as well as incorporating it into deep tissue therapy if needed. Other experiences I have involve sports massage (both pre and post event training included), Swedish, Acupressure, Prenatal, Chinese Cupping, and both Hot/Cold Stone treatments.
