- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning! I belong to the WPPI(Wedding and Portrait Photographers International), The PPA(Portrait Photographers of America), The ASMP(American Society of Media Professionals) and I am Part Of the CPS(Canon Professional Photographer) between these groups I attend multiple conferences around the country every year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since as far back as I can remember I have always had a camera in my hand. From disposable underwater to nikon dslrs, polaroid and in the digital age of photography it became even easier to have a camera in hand.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the photographer is competent and most definitely timely in their responses. 75% of what we photographers do nowadays is done at a desk at home editing your photos. A procrastinating photographer will be never make the deadlines you need.
