- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Session hour is between 50-55 minutes and vary in price. I will work with you to ensure the help you need is within your reach. I offer a sliding scale to clients who may need assistance. Please note I do not accept insurance at this time; however, a superbill can be provided upon request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can chat over the phone, email, or through Thumbtack, whatever your preference to figure out how I can best help you, what your current struggles are, and what you hope to gain from our time together. After that we work on finding a time that works best for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern #18394. I am a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University and hold a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Education. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. I use evidence-based models including: -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) -Social Thinking Curriculum (CBT based) -Zones of Regulation (CBT based) -Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Informally Trained -Mindfulness and Solution-Focused techniques -Behavioral Sleep Medicine Informally Trained My training and education was quite rigorous. I completed over 500 face-to-face hours with clients, over 175 hours of supervision, and over 1,000 hours of additional learning and trainings.
